Ivan Buljan

Ivan Buljan is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Split. He earned his master’s degree in psychology in 2015 and his PhD in social medicine in 2019. He is the program coordinator for the Psychology program in Split. His teaching focuses on statistics, methodology, research integrity, and psychology. Additionally, he is the president of the Croatian Reproducibility and Integrity Network (https://crorin.hr/) and serves as the statistical editor for the overlay journal STOpen (https://st-open.unist.hr/).

Workshops

Through the two sessions, utilizing a mixture of lecture and workshop format, we will cover the theoretical aspects of research reproducibility and practical advice on achieving it. Furthermore, students will have an opportunity to re-assess existing publicly available datasets from research papers using open-source software JASP to conduct basic statistical checks of research data.
