CALL FOR SUBMISSION

The 12th PUBMET2025 Conference on Scholarly Communication in the Context of Open Science will be held this year at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology from 11 to 12 September 2025.

It will provide an opportunity to meet in the beautiful capital of Croatia, gain knowledge and exchange ideas on what constitutes quality in open access scholarly communication. What defines quality in research, and how can it be assessed? How can open science contribute to improving the quality of scholarly output? What roles do researchers, universities, libraries, publishers and service providers play in the process? How can we define quality for journals, books and datasets in open access? Is there a way to enhance the research assessment and peer review process? You will find answers to those questions and more.

We invite you to join us on this journey by participating as a speaker or presenter. Share your research findings with your peers, engage in insightful discussions, and offer your perspective on how we can advance quality in open access scholarly communication.
