Assistant professor at the Department of Information Sciences, University of Zadar. MA in philosophy and comparative literature, MA in LIS, and PhD in Social Sciences, Information, and Communication Sciences. Her interests include qualitative research methodology, human information needs and behavior, youth information behavior, library services for different types of users, and information literacy. She is a member of the Standing Committee of the IFLA Libraries for Children and Young Adults Section. Involved in several projects, including OPERAS PLUS and GEDIS.
The workshop on qualitative data analysis software use provided hands-on training in utilizing specialized tools like MAXQDA, LiGRE, or Taguette for organizing, coding, and interpreting qualitative data. Participants will learn how to import textual data, apply thematic coding, and generate insights through visualization techniques. The session will cover importing data, creating and using codes, retrieving specific data segments, and identifying patterns in coded data. Additionally, participants will be introduced to free resources and enabled to learn and navigate the program’s features independently.
