Aleksandra Stevanović is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. Employed as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Health Studies and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka, she teaches courses related to mental health and communication skills. In addition to teaching and scientific activities, she works as a clinician at the Department of Psychological Medicine, Clinic of Psychiatry, Clinical Hospital Rijeka. Involved in several Erasmus+ projects on Cooperation among organisations and institutions.
The demands of scholarly work—tight deadlines, high performance expectations, and blurred boundaries between work and personal time—make maintaining work-life balance especially challenging in academia. The interactive 45-minute workshop provides short overview of work-life balance models with opportunity to reflect on specific challenges in academia through discussion, self-assessment, and actionable strategies. Participants will explore how to build a more sustainable and fulfilling rhythm between professional and personal life. This workshop is designed to offer insight, support, and a space for meaningful reflection.
